2018 Filberg Festival Food Vendor Application
Thank you for your interest in being a food vendor at the 2018 Filberg Festival. The festival takes place August 3-6, 2018.

Festival hours are:
Friday - Sunday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm and, Monday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Attendance over the 4 days can range from 16,000 to 20,000 guests.

Applications will be accepted until Feb 28, if accepted you will be notified by March 30, 2018.

Vendor fees range from $850 - $1200 for the weekend depending on vehicle size and power requirements.

Power & Water


There is limited power and water available so be as self-sufficient as you can. Please note that generators are not allowed. Use propane if possible and make sure we understand your total power requirements. Preference will be given to vendors with lower power requirement.

List all electrical you plan to use and the power it takes to operate it. Check the label for the specs and approval rating (i.e. cooler- 12 amp @120 volts or coffee urn - 1500 watts @ 120 volts) Only CSA approved equipment will be permitted.

Water on the grounds is potable. We provide 2 grey water tanks for you to dump your water. We will supply standpipe and hose connection for water, vendors must supply a hose and Y connector with shut off values.

We need to know about all the equipment you propose to use.

Space Requirements

We operate the festival in a park, so there are a lot of trees and uneven ground.

Note that food vendor move in is Wednesday, August 1st so keep this in mind when you apply to be a vendor and plan accordingly. A site plan is created based on number and size of food trucks and required power.

Menu


We try to offer a range of food options at reasonable costs. Please provide a general outline of your menu so we can try to avoid duplication. The number of vendors is limited by trailer size, power requirements and menu. Generally try to work with 12 food vendors in addition to 2 coffee trucks and Lemon Heaven.

The Filberg Festival is glass-free and since 2017 a plastic water bottle free event. This policy was well received and will be continuing going forward. We will provide water stations throughout the park and we sell Filberg Festival logo'd water bottles.

Please provide a list of all possible products you might like to have on your menu including prices.

Duplication of menu items will be avoided whenever possible, and you may be asked to revise your menu prior to being invited.
